How to play Monopoly without paper money
Lost half the money, or just want faster turns? Here is how to set up a digital bank for your next game in about a minute.
Start a free gameStep 1: Create the game
One person (the host) opens MonoBoardBank, chooses a name and a token, and creates a game. A 6-character join code appears.
Step 2: Invite the players
Share the code out loud, or send the invite link on WhatsApp. Each player picks a unique token and a name.
Step 3: Set the starting cash and start
The host can change the starting cash in the settings, then taps Start. Everyone receives their starting money at the same moment.
Step 4: Play and pay
Play on your real board as usual. When money changes hands, the payer chooses the player, enters the amount and confirms. The host pays salaries and rewards from the bank.
Step 5: Finish the game
When you are done, the host ends the game and everyone sees the final ranking by balance, with the winner at the top.
Frequently asked questions
What if someone loses connection?
They can reopen the site on the same phone and tap 'Return to my game'. Their seat and balance are kept.
Can someone join after the game started?
No. Games are locked once started, so the money stays fair. Start a new game to add players.
